What can I keep track of in Cratify?

Can I share with family members?
Yes — sharing is available on every plan, including Basic. Share a whole location or a single container, choose view-only or edit access, and change it anytime.
What does the AI actually do?
Take a photo and the AI names the possession and suggests a category, description, and tags. With Lifetime, Multi-Scan finds up to 15 possessions in one photo, so you can catalog a whole drawer or shelf at once.
How accurate is the AI?
It suggests a name, category, description and tags for each possession. It's a suggestion, not a promise: it will sometimes get a niche collectible or a specific model wrong, and you can change any name before or after you save. Basic includes 50 AI scans a month, so you can see how it does on your own things before paying anything.
How do I keep my inventory up to date?
Small updates, as things change. Moved something? Open it and tap Move to another container, or select a whole shelf's worth and move them together. Bought another? Tap + to raise the quantity. Putting something in a box? Scan the box's QR code or Handmark and tap Add possession, and the box is already filled in. All of it works on every plan.
What is a Handmark?
A Handmark is one photo of whatever is already on a container: a name on a strip of tape, marker on the cardboard, or a kid's drawing. After that, point Scan at it and the container opens with everything inside. Adding Handmarks comes with Lifetime. Scanning a Handmark someone in your household added is free on every plan.
What's the difference between People and Sharing?
People lets you record who each possession belongs to — even someone who doesn't use Cratify, like a young child. Sharing gives another Cratify user access to your inventory. You can also invite a Person to become a collaborator.
How do the QR codes work?
Every container and every possession has its own QR code. Print labels on any printer, stick one on, and scan it with your phone to see what's inside without opening it.
Can I export a record my insurance adjuster will accept?
Insurers set their own rules, so we can't promise what yours will accept. Ask your adjuster what they need. What Cratify gives you: a photo of every possession, filed by location, room and container; a PDF of any collection, grouped the same way with a photo of each possession; and a file of your whole inventory (JSON). Possessions don't store purchase prices yet, so keep receipts for valuable things too. You can save them in Cratify as documents.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud infrastructure. Your inventory is private by default, visible only to people you explicitly share with, and never shared with advertisers. We do share limited sign-up and purchase info with ad platforms to measure our ads, and you can turn that off anytime in Privacy Settings. See our Privacy Policy.
